Chloé Nesbitt is an artist based in Newcastle Upon Tyne

I am a Newcastle based Artist, Sculptor and Painter, experimenting with a combination of both, with a particular interest in soft sculpture. My work is often diverse, using mixed media and undertaking an exploration of themes of personal interest but continuosly referring back to ‘feminist’ topics.

My artistic journey started in Sixth Form, where I fell in love with painting and sculpture. This passion continued into University, where I developed a fascination with the female form and the intricacies of womanhood. These elements continue to shape my work today, more recently, incorporating a focus on sustainability and exploring upcycling through the use of repurposed objects and materials in my projects.
